The Offer
- Samsung Pay Rewards are offering 4x rewards points from through February 28th, 2017. This means you’ll earn at the following rates:
- Entry Level: 40 points per transaction
- Silver Level: 80 points per transactions
- Gold Level: 120 points per transaction
- Platinum Level: 160 points per transaction
The Fine Print
- You must wait at least five minutes in between transactions
- You’re now limited to two gift card purchases per rolling 24 period from Samsung Pay (this is app wide rather than brand specific)
Our Verdict
They offered another 4x period earlier this month. They have also been offering a 4x period at the end of each month (December & January here) so it seems like at the end of each month there will be a 4x period and some special occasions as well. You’re limited to a max of 50 transactions per month, so if you’re platinum and do it during these 4x periods that is 8,000 points worth around $40. Not a huge amount, but not bad if you can easily rack up those transactions.
