- Samsung Rewards is allow users to link their account to Lyft and earn 1 point per $1 spent with Lyft. In addition the first 60,000 people to link their accounts will get 1,000 bonus points.
Our Verdict
1x point per $1 spent is basically nothing with points being devalued so heavily. I guess it’s better than nothing but even with the 1,000 point bonus it’s hardly worth linking. Lyft also announced Lyft Pink earlier today.
With COVID not really travelling or ride sharing like we were before March of this year..
Lyft has had multiple stacking and earning partnerships – shame that COVID slowed and basically stopped all those points.
Chase UR, Hilton, Samsung Pay and it seems like Lyft Pilnk with CSR and the 10X airport trips. Seems like Lyft was throwing VC money all around like a wasted Wall street baller.
Until last year, a single Lyft ride earned you $20, even if you used an external promo to make it free

I did it on my computer. Logged into samsung rewards & Lyft first, then clicked that link. I got the 1000 Samsung Rewards points instantly.

Now that they have this cross promotion with Lyft, I wish they would bring back the ability to use 2000 points to get $10 off a Lyft ride . . .
