The Fine Print

  • Like all of these deals, you have to activate the offer first in the login

  • Offer valid one time only

Our Verdict

A few weeks ago I did a roundup of the deals showing for me, and AirBnb recently got added for many people. 5% isn’t much, but it’s on top of the regular credit card rewards which can be as high as 3.5% back with the new Premium Rewards card.

Keep in mind this offer in one-time use so if you use use the card for a $50 AirBnb charge you won’t be able to get credit for another stay. Not sure if this will work on the purchase of AirBnB gift cards.

Does this 5% stack at Bank of America with Bank of America 3% travel category = 8%?

Paid for more than $1000 worth of AirBnB booking and the BofA offer still hasn’t shown processing yet?

It looks like gift cards purchased from Airbnb DO work! It took a couple of days for BofA to track the purchase, but I received an email confirmation and the cashback confirmation shows in online banking as well. While Airbnb doesn’t “support” sending yourself a gift card, it’s easy enough to send one to a traveling companion or friend.

I have seen Airbnb in the deals section for many months. I usually see around 3 dozen deals though I have never used any,
