In May we posted a bonus from Seacoast Bank for $200 there was nothing in the fine print that stated it was geographically limited and you could sign up from any state. Seacoast then closed all accounts and stated that the promotion was for residents of Florida only (and they seemed to have closed accounts from Florida as well). A lot of people filed complaints without any success, but it seems that Seacoast bank have had a change of mind and they have now sent out checks for $200 with the following information:
Dear Sir/Madam,
As previously communicated to you, on May 18th, 2016 Seacoast National Bank closed a deposit account you opened at the bank, and refunded all funds you had deposited in the account in full. Further investigation reveleated that you likely opened the account as a result of an offer to receive up to $200.00 if certain new account activity requirements were met. Upon consideration of all relevant information, we have decided to provide you with the full $200.00 in the form of the enclosed check. We are taking this action as we have determined that the offer may not have clearly stated it was available to Florida residents only. Your deposit account will not be re-established and no further action on your part is required in order to accept the enclosed check.
Seacoast National Bank is committed to resolving customer issues appropiately and values all of our customers. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact us at 800.706.9991
Sincerely,
Seacoast National Bank

Glad to see that people finally received their bonuses. As always you can view a full list of bonuses we recommend here. It’s also important to note that it seems like people that didn’t make any complaints are also receiving the $200 check. Thanks to Travel With Grant for the picture.
