Small Luxury Hotels Makes Reward Changes (Hyatt Partnership Unchanged)

Readers might be more familiar with Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) of the World properties due to the Hyatt partnership, but SLH has announced changes to it’s own rewards program called SLH INVITED. These changes will go into effect on September 10th, 2019 and there will be no change to the Hyatt partnership. Changes are as follows:

• Tier 1 name will be changed from Invited to Intrigued
• Requirements for each tier will change from number of stays to number of nights.
  • Invited/Intrigued: Required 1 stay, will now require 0-3 nights
  • Inspired: Required 1-5 stays, will now require 4-12 nights
  • Indulged: Required 6+ stays or $6,000 USD, will now required 13+ nights
• Free breakfast will only be available to tier 2 and tier 3 members
• Late check out subject to availability will be moved from 3PM to 2PM

I doubt this will affect many if any readers. Overall I’d say these changes are negative, although the requirement moving from stays to nights is probably an improvement for most people.
