Reddit user mapalm noticed this on their Staples receipt and adds that if you choose store pick-up the 25 cards will be completely and entirely free. Also, they don’t have to be holiday cards – you can upload a picture and made a custom card instead, all for free.
Our Verdict
A lot of people will be at Staples stores for their fee-free Visa gift cards this week. This is a nice additional freebie to add on top of that and good timing for the holiday season.
Update: Reader Joe notes that this offer only shows on the receipt for those who buy three gift cards from Staples. If you are buying numerous fee-free Visa gift cards, you can split up the purchase into buckets of 3 to get multiple offer codes for the free holiday cards.
