Is there a way to combine with coupons?

Where do you usually find Subway coupons? I haven’t seen any in a while.

Coupons are usually distributed with the grocery ads in your mail mid-week. There was a new batch of Subway coupons this week. If you don’t have access many locations still feature a daily 6 inch or footlong special that provides a decent discount.

Subway offers are a bit tricky with respect to online payments because the clerks who work there tend to be clueless. And I say that due to lack of training, not intelligence. The best strategy is to add PayPal as your preferred form of payment to the Subway app and then your $10 purchase can be organized using any offers on the app. Attempting to use a physical or text coupon with an online payment hasn’t worked for me in the past. In these situations even when I’ve had Subway’s own gift card stored as a form of payment I’ve still had to swipe the physical card to pay.

Previously, if you set your default payment method to PayPal in the Subway app, you could use the barcode in the Subway app at the store to pay. This allowed you to use coupons and then pay with the Subway app for the double dip. Can’t guarantee it will work now, but I will be trying it later today.

Did it work for you this time?

Not the same person but tried the idea and it worked for me. Also used the survey for 2 cookies as well as the 2 footlongs for $12. So $7 (plus tax, one was toasted) for 2 footlongs 2 cookies, not bad.

FWIW, was getting “an unexpected error occurred” on the app after not having opened in a while, reinstalled.

these have worked every time for me if I save the offer in a web browser in paypal, then pay with the subway iphone app with paypal to redeem.

Stackable drug store savings considering the fact that Subway is a viable laxitive.

Would a transaction like this (at Subway via PayPal) code as “dining” or miscellaneous?

After over 30 minutes of trying to order one stupid sandwich on this nightmare of an app, I think I’m just gonna give up. Is there any food app out there that is “quick and easy” to use? If so, let me know. 🙂

I have done these subway deals every time they have been available with no issues. I do not order through the app, but simply through the subway website. Upon ordering I instantly get an email showing the total charged to paypal, like so:

Subtotal $12.91 USD
Special offer $5.00 USD
Total payment to seller $7.91 USD
