Our Verdict
Swagbucks are worth at least one cent per point, and you’ll net $8 on this deal, plus 3 free audiobooks. It’s especially worthwhile for someone who is interested in the audiobooks. Otherwise, it might not be worth the hassle of signing up, doing the downloads, and cancelling. I don’t know if cancellation is done online or over the phone.
Remember to set yourself a reminder to evaluate if you should cancel the subscription before the three months are up. The terms sound to me that you can cancel after downloading the third audiobook, but before the end of the three months, so as to save the next monthly fee. Otherwise this deal wouldn’t be a moneymaker, but I’m fairly certain it’ll work out if you time the cancellation right between the third download and the end of the third month.
Bear in mind that with other Swagbucks deals, some people have had problems either with the portal tracking or with Swagbucks deactivating their account for reasons which aren’t clear, so keep the risks in mind.
