Our Verdict
Stephen from Frequentmiler reported getting an email about this offer, though others say they aren’t seeing it. Personally, I didn’t get an email, but I see it when searching Amazon on Swagbucks so apparently I’m eligible.
In the past, Amazon has always barred portals from offering cashback for shopping on Amazon. The email of this offer notes that this won’t last long, and I’m guessing it’s just some sort of short thing Amazon decided to run; possibly they’re doing it specifically with Swagbucks since it’s not technically ‘cashback’ (though Swagbucks can be redeemed for Paypal cash or gift cards). Will be interesting to see if this develops further with other portals offering more (as the actual amount Amazon pays their affiliates is usually much more than .5%) or if it’s just a limited-time thing with Swagbucks.
