Update 5/25/21: Now up to 20,000 ($200), wow! (ht Julian)
The Offer
- Swagbucks is offering
10,000 ($100)13,000SB ($130)20,000 ($200) when you sign up for a GoodRx Gold card subscription AND fill a prescription AND stay past your free 30-day trial (meaning, you need to pay one month membership which costs $5.99).
The Fine Print
- Save up to 90% on prescriptions when you join GoodRx Gold. Gold works with or without insurance, and even beats most insurance copays. Individual members save an average of $2,875/yr and families $3,323/yr.
- Fill a prescription with your GoodRx Gold card and stay past your free 30-day trial to earn 10,000 SB.
- Membership sign ups using Prepaid Cards are Not Accepted.
- Your award will not Pend. Allow 45 days for award to appear in your account.
- Please allow up to 45 days after filling your prescription for SB to be credited to your account. SB may be revoked for invalid or canceled paid subscriptions.
- Must be a new GoodRx subscriber and stay past the trial period to earn SB.
- This offer may only be redeemed once (1) per user.
- This offer is presented to you by Swagbucks on behalf of a third-party merchant or sponsor (“Merchant”). Swagbucks does not endorse (and therefore is not responsible to you for) the Merchant’s views, policies, products or services. If you are not credited within 45 days of offer completion, you have 14 days to contact the Swagbucks Help Center for further investigation. Help Center tickets submitted after the 14 day grace period are not eligible for further investigation and SB.
Our Verdict
Seems like you can pay just one month $5.99 fee and get $100 $130 for trying out the service, but remember you will need to fill a prescription as well. If you don’t want to keep the subscription remember to cancel after you pay the fee for one month.
IÂ don’t know much about the GoodRx service, feel free to comment below with your thoughts. You can also read this Reddit thread or this article which could give you more background.

Post history:
- Update 4/17/21: Back up to $130.
- Update 2/23/21: Increased now up to $130, wow.
My points never went pending, but did show with checkmark in visited tab. Submitted a help ticket with all my info around a month ago, and they just manually credited me the 20k today. Phew! I ended up paying for 2 months of GoodRX gold, and overpaying for my prescription by maybe $12. I hope you all have decent luck escalating your claims and get credited. I was very nervous, but this time it worked out. I’ve had mixed luck with SB and their ‘investigations’.
So frustrated that SB is not paying out and came here to find that everyone else is getting the same run around from them. Really shady.
5/25 signed up through SB
6/10 filled prescription at CVS for $7.11
6/25 billed $5.99 by GoodRx Gold (completes criteria)
7/24 paused subscription
7/25 45th day after prescription refill
7/27 submitted ticket for missing 20,000 points along with screenshot of pending activity with 5/26 date, Goodrx activation email confirmation dated 5/26, Goodrx prescription confirmation from 6/10
7/29 Received SB response: “Unfortunately, our team was not able to find a successful completion for this activity. Since there was no successful completion reported in our system, we are unable to issues any credits.”
Got the exact same response. Am gonna try submitting a ticket one more time. If not credited I would probably file a complaint to BBB.
Did you ever get your points? I got the same exact message earlier today. Really urks me! How were you able to submit multiple pictures? After they revamped the ticket system it doesn’t work as well if you use the mailbox icon next to the activity or emailing customer support when opening the activity tab.
Finally got the 20,000 points. The last correspondence asked for a receipt. Since GoodRx Gold does not issue receipts for automatic payments, I sent them a copy of my credit card bill. Cha-ching!
They denied my ticket so I filed a complaint to BBB. After about a week they finally credited me. It was such a hassle. Not worth it.
Can an of you send me screen shot of $200 offer. Swag bucks is saying they had $100 on that day (5/25) . Email [email protected]
Please, i would also need this screenshot!

5/25 signed up through SB
6/10 filled prescription at CVS for $7.11
6/25 billed $5.99 by GoodRx Gold
7/25 next GoodRx billing date
7/25 45th day after prescription refill
My SB account activity shows a column for Pending Activity and a column for Activity. GoodRx does not display in Pending Activity. It does display in Activity with a yellow pending icon. I plan on pausing my subscription before day 45 to avoid a monthly charge. I see that people who signed up for the 20,000 point offer on or after 5/25 have already received the 20,000 points in June. Not the case for me.
I’m in the same boat as you. Signed up via SB and filled prescription 5/27. GoodRX doesn’t show in the SB Pending Activity tab, but it shows yellow pending icon under Visited tab.
Ditto here, except I filled my prescription on 6/16
Just beware the Yellow Icon doesn’t guarantee the payout, I also had the same Icon and after multiple tickets and finally a BBB claim, they awarded the $130 to me.
I read one that lead to that too. If I recall correctly there might of been something that included multiple accounts same person (IP) or using same computer on multiple accounts. Something to that effect. Which isn’t the case for me with swagbucks. Didn’t see a Dp for this situation though. We’ll see. I already received the giftcards redemption and attempted to do a different offer on something else.
Update – 20k posted after submitting ticket on SB. Here is my timeline:
5/27 signed up through SB
5/27 filled prescription at CVS for $6.55
6/26 $5.99 charged by GoodRx on my CIU card.
7/11 45th day after prescription refill
7/12 Paused GoodRX Gold membership so they won’t bill me.
7/14 Submitted ticket with SB showing emails of prescription fill, GoodRX Gold Welcome email, and GoodRX 20k SB offer screenshot.
7/16 20k posted to account.
Update: points posted a few days after submitting a ticket with about a dozen screenshots documenting every part of offer.
How does one upload multiple screenshots/emails when opening a ticket? I sent a message/ticket by clicking on line-item from “visited” tab under Activity, but it would only let me attach one image. Thank you!
One file is all you can send in the initial contact. You can manually merge your documents into one file prior to sending.
Hi jumping randomly on the initial offer screenshot wagon – possibly mid thread sorry 😣
I got credited with 5,000 SB this AM (Iike not event ll half of the promotion and I’m still paying goodrx) similar timeline to everyone above – I’m missing a screenshot of the original offer and want to get all info before I submit my ticket for remaining 15,000 SB OWED to me
Email: [email protected]
Did you ever get your swagbucks for this deal?
This one is hit or miss it seems. Just want to add one more data point. swagbucks seems unwilling to resolve either.
P2 signed up/filled rx on 4/9, yellow pending icon showed up just after. nothing since then. no payment at 45 days, message sent at 46 days with no reply, then sent numerous additional messages with documentation that receive no reply.
really a waste of money and time, good luck if it works for you.
No luck either, ticket rejected.
What yellow pending icon? I’m not familiar with the SB tracking interface.
Player 1: Signed up 5/25, filled 6/9, haven’t been credited anything yet. Still in the 30 day trial.
Player 2: Signed up 6/6, filled 6/6, credited 20,000 SB on 6/17 with no contact with customer service. Haven’t even finished the trial period yet, but I’ll let it keep going for one month for safety.
5/25 signed up through Swagbucks
5/28 filled prescription (~$11)
6/17 credited 10,000 SB, submitted ticket requesting the full 20,000
I guess there’s some possibility that it’s supposed to work like this, and I don’t qualify for the remaining 10,000 until I pay next month’s subscription, but that seems unlikely to me.
Update: I was credited the remaining 10,000 SB last evening. I believe that’s the fastest I’ve ever had a ticket resolved.
I too was credited 10000 sb instead of 20000 sb on 12th June. Have submitted a ticket now.
Mine didn’t track and I forgot to screenshot the 20,000 SB offer, anyone here able to share?
i have it.. ur email id ?
[email protected]
Appreciate it, thanks so much!
I have sent you the screenshot for the $200 offer.
Any chance I could get the screenshot as well?
[email protected]
appreciate it
Have sent it now.
Can you please send screen shot [email protected].
Hi jumping randomly on the initial offer screenshot wagon 2 months late – just got 5,000 SB credited this AM – missing 75% of my offer. Have all other docs just need a screenshot of initial offer – never make that mistake again – before I send SB most comprehensive ticket requesting the 15,000 SB that is missing.
If anyone could email me screenshot of initial offer I’d be so thankful – $150 with an ongoing subscription I’m dying to cancel is ridiculous

Given how it functions I don’t quite understand how GoodRx would know you’ve filled a prescription. Can anymore clarify?
