- Some Marriott Bonvoy Business cardholders are being offered a bonus 7,500 Marriott Bonvoy points each month for six months (up to 45,000 points total) when they spend $5,000 or more in eligible purchases that month.
- Others have a similar offer but for 15,000 points with $10,000 in spend

- Offer is good for a maximum of 6 months, or until 10/7/19.
Our Verdict
Works out to be an extra 1.5x points per $1 spent if you spend exactly $5,000. Card normally earns 2x points per $1 spent on all purchases, this would make it 3.5x per $1 spent if you spend exactly $5,000. That’s only slightly better than what the SPG business card used to earn (3x points) and is only for a limited time and only if you spend exactly $5,000. Still might be useful to cardholders who receive this offer, but in the long term this card has definitely gotten worse with the merger.
