Just FYI, I paid Progressive Insurance with my Amex via Paypal and it DID trigger the credit. I was skeptical Paypal would work, but it did.

Did it actually post? I paid Progressive as well, received email notification immediately, but now, 2 days later, the transaction posted, the offer is under “Added” (not “Redeemed”) and no credit. Usually the credit posted within a day.

I got it on my BB+, saved and used it to pay my health insurance premium. It doesn’t seem to have triggered the credit though. 🙁

Lol. I got this on 4 cards, but guess what my insurance company doesn’t accept Amex…:) Gonna have to pass this on to relatives and maybe get a beer or two from them.

0/1. I got this offer at the end of last year on my Blue Cash Preferred – don’t believe it was as generous as this one. No second bite, evidently.

Do these usually work on any insurance? Eg. car, mortgage, etc?
