[Targeted] Bank Amerideals: Get 10% Back at Marriott, Hilton, and Many Restaurants & Shopping

The Offer

Bank of America, BBVA, PNC, Regions, and a number of other banks offer cash back deals at select retailers. It’s worth checking your offers periodically to see what’s there and to save the one’s the interest you. Here are the offers I see currently:

  • 10% back at Petsmart
  • 10% back at  Petvalu
  • 10% back at Advanced Auto Parts
  • 10% back at Midas
  • 10% back at Cadillac
  • 10% back at Cole Haan
  • 10% back at Tilly’s
  • 10% back at Brookstone
  • 10% back at J. Crew Factory
  • 10% back at Lindt

  • 10% back at Five Guys
  • 10% back at The Cheesecake Factory
  • $15 back on Hulu
  • $50 back with new ATT line (not as good as this deal)
  • $10 back at Stitch Fix

The Fine Print

  • Check the terms of each offer for the max discount and expiration date
  • Be sure to save each offer separately

Our Verdict

These bank offers don’t get a lot of talk since they are targeted and aren’t usually moneymakers. They’re still nice deals for regular use, especially if you’re using the card anyway. I recently started using my Bank of America cards regularly, and now I’m getting lots of Bank Amerideals offers.

To the earlier commenters, these deals are based on how often you use the card. And where you use it. Plain and simple. The more you use it, the more deals you get. This is the same for B of A and PNC (Purchase PayBack)

Secondly, in my experience, the initial offer for a retailer starts at 10% and then once you use it, often it shows up again for 5% a few weeks later. So, in Chuck’s case it seems to me he hasn’t taken advantage of these deals much because his are all 10%.

Finally, while I agree the caps are meager (My Einstein’s Bagels offer was $1.00!) Where these come in handy is for the card spending bonuses. For instance, on my PNC, I have a $20 bonus if I spend $250 by 12/31. 8% back on top of the initial 5-10% back from the original purchases (especially when gift cards count) is certainly worth my time.

Thanks, Chuck, for the great post!

By the way, I’ve made $161 and my wife’s made $78 so far this year just on the B of A deals. I’ve been putting my spending on other cards so I hadn’t been checking my deals until I saw them here.

Thanks DoC!

As a tip for others who aren’t seeing a bunch of deals, start using your BOA credit cards more. I only got two or three, but since I starting using my card in more places I’m getting a lot more deals.

Not really expecting any DPs here but thought I’d ask -> for the BoA Stitchfix cashback, it says $10 cashback on the “styling fee.” However, I had ibotta cashback cover the styling fee entirely ($20). Anybody have any success in getting the BoA $10 to credit on later Stitchfix purchases? Or does the styling fee code differently?

Was just going to e-mail you on this. Got a 10% on Toys-R-Us/Baby’s-R-Us up to $9 back. Stacked with Ebates (should have checked around other portal but I have the button and it happened automatically).

That the issue with the BoA deals – too many ridiculously small caps. My wife earned $2 (the max) at Michael’s recently – hardly worth the bother to check.
