- Capital One is offering to match 3% of your automatic transfers, up to $50.
- Step 1. Use the Capital One® Mobile app or online banking to set up automatic transfers to your 360 Money Market® account.
- Step 2. Choose a start date for your automatic transfers and how often you want them to occur—for example, weekly or monthly.
- Step 3. We’ll match 3% of your automatic transfer deposits until November 15, 2018—for up to $50 in bonus savings. (That’s in addition to the interest you’re already earning—giving you even more bang for your savings buck.)
The Fine Print
- Will I get a confirmation that I qualified for the bonus? You won’t get a confirmation—you’ll automatically qualify for the bonus once your automatic transfers deposit into your 360 Savings or 360 Money Market account.
- When will I receive my bonus savings? If you qualify for the bonus, Capital One will deposit the money into your Capital One savings account approximately 60 days after the offer ends on 11/15/2018. Account must be in good standing (not in default, closed, or suspended, or otherwise not in good standing).
Our Verdict
To get the full bonus you need to receive $1,667 in automatic savings. Keep in mind you need to do more than one transaction to qualify. Not difficult to set up and worth doing. Always nice to see a bonus that targets existing customers.

Got $50 in my money market and also an unexpected $50 in my pre-tax IRA. So about 6% back on $1600 with minimal effort. Not amazing, but not bad
The $50 in the pre-tax IRA is nice so long as the person has not already maxed out the year’s IRA contributions. Or, perhaps, they will report it as pure interest on the IRA balance (hopefully). As for me, I am still waiting for my $50 after fully complying with the terms of a targeted offer. I called today and they said they would need two weeks to investigate. (What?? That is nuts on multiple levels.) This is the second occasion where I had to negotiate with Capital One to get a bonus I was promised.
Did 2 x automatic weekly deposits of $834 on Aug. 25th and Sep. 1st. Cancelled the auto transfers afterward. Bonus $50 posted today!

Did 4x $500 transfers and left $2k in account until now. I was targeted via email.

I’m starting to think the $50-before-taxes isn’t worth the mind space of keeping track of this offer. Will check back again end of January…

I didn’t get a targeted email but I went ahead and set up the transfers. It will be interesting to see if I get the bonus.
I’m kind of surprised I wasn’t targeted, my account has been mostly dormant since I received the signup bonus and withdrew most of the money. So you’d think I’d be the prime target for something like this.
has anyone seen the matched amount show up yet? I set up a $556 recurring weekly transfer, had 3 go through, then cancelled future transfers. Just got my interest for the month (a jaw dropping $0.50!), but no sign of the 3% match yet.

I am thinking this needs to be initiated from the regular Transfer Money link of Capital One online and nothing to do with their Automatic Savings plan (which is a separate link in online banking), right?

Did we have to be targeted and get the email? OR if we just did the $10,000 deposit for the $200 bonus for the 360 Money Market account at the beginning of the month would we qualify?
You definitely need to be targeted.
