The Fine Print
- This limited-time bonus offer is non-transferrable and only applies to the account identified in this email. If you upgrade or change your account to another credit card product, or if your account becomes delinquent, closed, restricted, over the credit line or otherwise not in good standing, you will not be eligible for this promotion or any bonus.
- Eligible accountholders who activate this offer as indicated in this email by 11:59 p.m. ET December 7, 2019, are eligible to earn a one-time bonus of $300 after spending $10,000 on new, net purchases (purchases minus returns) for purchases made between 12:00 a.m. ET November 8, 2019, and 11:59 p.m. ET February 7, 2020 (Offer Period).
Our Verdict
Basically an extra 3% if you spend exactly $10,000. Venture also earns 2x on all spend, so this basically makes it spend $10,000 and get a bonus of $500. Definitely worth doing if you can hit the $10,000 spend requirement, but for people that can’t (or don’t) spend that much you’re be better off signing up for new card bonuses instead.

Received $200 payout on account on 2/20 for “spend $7.5k get $200” offer.
Has anyone called and asked about the payout window for this bonus? T&C don’t even mention one. I tried calling but since my wife is the primary card holder they wouldn’t speak to me.
Here is the fine print from the email they sent out. It states “up to 90 days from offer end date”….

I received the offer $300/$7500 on my Savor. Had a work expense for Skyzone which is in the 4% entertainment category and makes the effectively an 8% return for me, amazingly. Met spend in December, still waiting on $300 to post.

Came looking for answer to this. I did my $10k with est tax payments for self and one of my kids just before 1/15, statement close 1/20, no bonus yet.
Received $200 for $7.5k spend. Met it at the end of December. No bonus yet. I Assume it’ll come through on 1st statement following 2/7.

My bonus FINALLY posted today….. took 3 calls to get it. Started spend in 11/2019 met spend in 01/2020, bonus posted in 05/2020.
My offer is earn $100 reward for each $3000 in spend in a month, up to $300 in rewards.
So I can earn $300 for $9000 in spend ($3000 spend per month).

Usually I’m disappointed when one of my cards doesn’t target me for a promo. In this instance I’m glad because while I could meet the spending bonus, it’s probably not prudent
