The Offer
Check your emails for the following offer on a Chase card:
- Get a $10 statement credit when you spend $200 on Insurance, Cable, Internet Phone and Utilities from 2/7/23 and 3/31/23.
Our Verdict
Nice deal for anybody targeted, especially for insurance which isn’t typically bonused anywhere. There was a similar offer a few months ago, and there’s also a similar offer currently from Amex.Â
Hat tip to San_K
Since there was no post for the current offer ending 6/30/23 (at least I couldn’t find it) I’ll ask here. Did anyone else get an email from Chase on other cards providing the $10 credit, but if you go to the site to activate it, it gives another offer like 5x groceries and 7x dining and gas? Will it work if I put $200 cell bill on to that card to get the $10 credit?
Discussion of those current offers here: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase-spending-offers-4-1-6-30/
$200 insurance charge cleared and got the $10 credit (listed as ‘BILLPAY CREDIT’) the same day.
Does World Nomads count as insurance?
Is this found in an email or on the app under offers (like where you select to activate them)?
Have CIC for Cable/Internet and USBank for Utilities. Why couldn’t they do this for something like Medical. Just Once…
Just prepaid my att bill to hit the SC
I have this but I already get 5% on utilities, cable internet with US Bank Cash+
This is still better since you also earn the standard points.
I don’t even check anymore with Chase, they hate me.
I sometimes get that feeling, too. It’s extremely rare that I get targeted for any of the offers mentioned here on DoC (and this is another with no joy).
Me three. I suspect the people that they earn the least interest from (zero from me) are the ones that rarely, if ever, get targeted for anything worthwhile…..’course I get ENDLESS offers for things that would definitely garner them interest charges.
How do you sign up for emails? I’ve been with chase for a while, I must have opted out at some point
