The Offer
- Chase is sending out an email offer to some Sapphire Preferred cardholders to get a 25,000 points bonus when you upgrade to the Sapphire Reserve by 1/31/26. Must spend $3,000 by 2/14/26 to get the bonus.
Our Verdict
We had heard that this was coming. Obviously not a huge bonus offer, but still an good deal for someone in the market for the Sapphire Reserve. You can also cancel your Sapphire Preferred and then apply for the Sapphire Reserve with a bigger bonus, but that would affect your 5/24 account and is subject to 5/24 – choose the best option for you.
