- Citi has sent out some lucrative spending offers to Citi Sears cardholders. Here are some of the offers seen:
- Earn 10x bonus Thankyou points on gas station, grocery store and restaurant purchases for total eligible purchases of $2,000 or more made each month 4/1/2018 until 6/30/2018 (maximum of 30,00 bonus points each month).
- Small update: Some people have different maximum points (e.g 10,000 or 25,000 maximum) and also different minimum spends per month.

Our Verdict
This deal is just crazy good, you can earn up to a total of 90,000 ThankYou points and it includes gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants at a 10x rate. The only downside is you need to spend at least $2,000 each month to receive the 10x. This is the reason this card is ranked #1 on our list of store cards. If you don’t already have this card you can get it with a $150 sign up bonus and then product change into the cash back or Citi ThankYou point earning card.
If you don’t receive these offers, try putting some normal spend on the card for a few months and it should trigger an offer. The good thing is that once you start receiving the offers you’ll usually continue to do so as you’ll be putting more spend on the cards as the promos are so good.

Sorry if I should know this, but do these bonus point offers apply to gift cards purchased at grocery stores and gas stations?
DoC, so this is a citi card, so 8/65 rule needs to be obeyed, but the card login is actually from Sears website?

My dp: 1/26/18 got an AA personal, 2/9/18 got an AA business approved, then same same-day 2/9/18 applied and got the Sears card.
Wish I had read this yesterday before I applied. Curious, was the Biz card application with an EIN or SS? I applied for an AA Biz on 9/26 (with SS, approved) and the Sears MasterCard on 10/2 (approved).
Interestingly, Citi pulled from Equifax for one and Experian for the other. Every other citi application both have been pulled.
Your datapoint makes me hopeful that the rules do not apply and Im considering moving forward my next AA personal app. Debating trying for a AA personal either tomorrow (8 days from biz card…though think the 8 day rule is just for personal) or 10/10 (8 days from Sears), or play it safe and wait until 11/30 (65 since biz app).
Any thoughts on do they afford giving these generous offers
It’s on of the largest store cards in the market (maybe even the largest). They get a lot of people putting spend on the card that are highly profitable (e.g pay fees and interest charges). These promos obviously work to get some of those people to spend more money.
I got a $50 statement credit for $500+ in any spending from 4/1-5/31 offer earlier today.

I switched my earning from SYW to TYP last year and have received close to 50K TYPs. They send a mailer with the offers, each mailer is attached to the card number of the recipient.
Unlike bonus TYPs from Citi for retention etc, these ones from Sears are transferable.
Got my letter today 10X on up to $1500 for three months. 15K TYPs for three months.
This card is the GOAT of store cards. So glad I picked this up back in 2012. The thing has been unreal.
Yep. Earned over $2,000 in cash back last year and just pulled $900 in Q2 this year from this promo…and had a promo in March as well.
Do bonus offers spend count toward the max $10k combined spend for the regular bonus?

No, you can PC as soon as it arrives in the mail. I recommend doing so through PM with CS rather than calling.
Did you PC on the Sears Citi website. I have tried twice to PC and just get a canned response that I have to call. Totally worthless to call. Please advise.
