The Fine Print
- Please note: Invited sellers must activate the Promotion by selecting “Activate offer” from within the invitation email, the Promotion landing page, or from within the Promotional Offers module within My eBay. Items listed prior to a seller activating the Promotion, or July 6, 2017, will not be eligible for the Promotion.
- Invited sellers (“Sellers) who activate the offer and then list in the fixed price, auction-style, or auction-style with Buy It Now format, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein, will pay no final value fees for the first five sold items that were listed during the Promotion Period (the “Promotion”).
- All listing durations are included; however auction-style listings created in 1-day and 3-day duration will continue to be subject to the listing upgrade fee. Fees for optional listing upgrades (such as reserve price, Gallery Plus, listing in 2 categories, etc.) still apply.
- This Promotion starts on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 00:00:01 PT (12:00AM plus one second), and will end on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 23:59:59 PT (11:59PM plus 59 seconds) for listings on www.ebay.com (the “Promotion Period”).
Our Verdict
You still pay other fees, just no final value fees. Could be useful to some, hopefully it’s not too targeted.

I don’t believe that. I just listed something two days ago for the first time in years. I really needed this because my item is not selling, but now I am not targeted.
What other fees are there? Have never sold on ebay and was targetted for this. Would like to sell my phone for about 350 and would love to get this done in $5-$10
Just the PP fee which 2.9%.
