[Targeted] Mini Visa Card: Earn 10x Points On All Purchases

The Offer

The Fine Print

• Targeted offer, must have received e-mail to be eligible
• Receive ten MINI Motoring Reward Points for each dollar charged for an eligible purchase on your MINI Card. Eligible purchases exclude Balance Transfers and Cash Advances.
• This promotional period is only valid from 12:00 AM CT October 5, 2017 through 11:59 PM CT October 10, 2017.
• Please allow up to two billing cycles to see your extra earned MINI Motoring Rewards Points posted to your MINI Card account.

Our Verdict

Most people will want to know how much points are worth and the options are pretty good:

• $50 Mini Visa gift card: 6,000 points
• $100 Mini Visa gift card: 11,000 points
• $200 Mini Visa gift card: 21,000 points
• $300-$1,000 Mini Visa giftcard: 31,000-101,000

The higher denomination you redeem for the better value per point you get. At the lowest level you’re getting 0.833¢ and at the highest level you’re getting 0.99¢ per point. The reader who sent this in send that these offers are not frequent but that they usually get targeted for two offers as year. The most common offer seems to be spending $500 each month for two months and getting 10,000 points. Obviously this current offer of 10x points back is insane if you can really maximize it. These cards are issued by BMW Bank of North America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BMW Financial Services NA, LLC. There is no annual fee and they usually earn at the following rates:

• 2x points at Mini Dealerships, motoring purchases
• 1x points on all other purchases

Card also comes with no sign up bonus. Only reason I can see for applying would be to get these targeted bonuses, I’d love to hear from other cardholders to see what type of offers they have received previously.
