The Fine Print

Our Verdict
Somebody that did the 30¢ deal also got this one (they had linked Shell app with Chase Pay but never used Chase Pay to pay). Shell is usually more expensive in a lot of areas, but with this discount it should be significantly cheaper.

The closest Shell station to me is much more expensive than any of the other stations in the immediate area, but I’ve found Shell stations a bit further away that are as cheap or cheaper than their competitors. Use Gasbuddy to find the cheapest Shell stations in your state and you may be surprised.
The link in email brings you to the Shell app and says 30cents. So idk if the 50 cents will actually work. Also it’s an extra 7 cents off in New England on Sunday’s until 12/29.

Would be nice if Costco was not 85 cents per gallon cheaper already in my area.
How do you add chase pay as a form of payment in the iPhone app? Seems all you can do is add cards.

Same here on adnriod , when I called shell support from within the app they had no idea what I am talking about. Another technology challenged company with too many women in upper management.
Shell app is worthless on my phone. Unable to add payments… just sits there with a busy circle. Tried everything I can think of, reinstalling, creating a new account, logging into the webpage to update my personal info. Garbage. I can see why it gets a 2 out of 5 stars on Google Play Store.
I could never use the shell app either. Wouldn’t recognize the station I was at so it was useless. At least Mobil has a QR option if there’s an issue. Costco is still my first choice but winter tends to make every other half tank fill up closer to home.
