Some SPG personal cardholders are getting the following offer:
- Get 10,000 bonus SPG points per $4,000 in spend through November 30th, 2018. Spend an additional $2,000 and receive an additional 5,000 points (e.g spend $6,000 and receive 15,000 bonus points)
- Theres another variation that is spend $2,000 and get 6,000 points. Spend an additional $1,000 and get 4,000 additional points
The Fine Print
- Register by October 31st, 2018
- Spend by November 30th, 2018
Our Verdict
Similar offer already went out to business cardholders. If you spend $4,000 or $6,000 exactly this is an extra 2.5 points per $1 spent. The card normally earns 2x points on all purchases so this bumps it up to 4.5x, not bad but not that crazy for a spending bonus. Keep in mind these offers often go out around renewal date so you also need to work out if you want to keep the card and pay the annual fee or not in that case.
