According to a few sources TPG’s link will be live through August 3rd, so you’ll need to wait a bit longer for other sources to get their own links.
At the moment it’s currently possible to get 75,000 points on the Citi Prestige. What’s interesting is that this offer is exclusive to The Points Guy until August 1st, exclusive deals like this aren’t that uncommon and in fact we’ve run similar deals in the past (keep in mind none of these are currently active):
- Topcashback $20 Sign Up Bonus – Exclusive For Doctor of Credit Readers
- [Expired] Northpointe $50 Bonus + $50 To Charity + 5% APY Checking Account – No Bonus Requirements – DoC Exclusive
- DoC Exclusive: Spend $100 On Splender Cash Back Portal, Receive $10 Bonus (New & Existing Users)
- Northpointe $50 Bonus + $50 To Charity + 5% APY Checking Account – No Bonus Requirements – DoC Exclusive
In saying that I don’t think we’ve seen an exclusive deal on a popular credit card like this in the past. We don’t use bank account or credit card affiliate links on this site (click those posts to read the reasons why). Because of that we posted a stripped down version of the Citi Prestige 75,000 point offer that excludes some of  the parameters that are usually used to determine who the affiliate is. Some things to keep in mind:
- TPG is the only affiliate with access to these 75,000 point offers currently. This means that even with the stripped down link it’s entirely possible that site is still earning commission when you sign up for that offer (e.g Citi just looks at all applications with the 75,000 point offer attached).
- Other affiliates will gain access to this link on August 1st. Most sites these days have either direct or indirect affiliate links (e.g the ones that link you to a general credit card page and then you go from there to find the card you’re looking for). If you want to support one of those sites, you might be better off waiting until August 1st and then using their links instead.
- There is also a 50,000 point offer on the Citi ThankYou Premier. Remember you won’t be able to get both bonuses because of the Citi 24 month rule, so work out what offer is better for you. In fact a lot of people won’t be eligible for either bonus.
I’m a big believer in supporting sites that you find helpful. I think my readers are smart enough to work out what sites provide value and what sites don’t and that’s going to vary from person to person. I always try to use links from other sites that I think provide good content, as I know that provides encouragement and makes them more likely to product more content that I enjoy and I encourage readers to do the same. As the saying goes, speak with your wallet.
