Micro-manage your account including screenshots and spreadsheets. I am owed hundreds of dollars from TCB primarily when Raise and TCB had joint promos. See the internet threads on TCB and other posts on this blog before you lose money like me.

Hi there,

If you’d like to contact us via a support ticket we’d be more than happy to look into any missing/incorrect cashback you may want to query.

Thanks,
Patrick

About half of my purchases through them in the last 30 days haven’t tracked and they refuse to provide any immediate help. Their UK support seems good but cannot help with US issues. US support stated I am not permitted to contact vendors if TCB doesn’t track or honor purchases but they refuse to contact vendors or manually process purchases. Well, if they won’t contact the vendor, I don’t see why I can’t.

Good luck ever getting anything from them. No have purchases from Dec 2018 to now and ZERO have been paid to me and none were honored at the advertised rate including two 7% Amazon purchases (only one tracked…at 1%, and never paid to me). They are the pre-Mayfield Browns of the cashback world.

They work great for me! If it’s your Amazon purchases that aren’t getting you cash back, that’s because whatever you bought wasn’t under the specific categories they give cash back for. Most Amazon categories don’t give cash back.

As a Clevelander and a Browns fan, I laughed out loud at your “pre-Mayfield Browns” comment. While this year’s team hasn’t lived up to the hype, Dan, you still get kudos for the line!

Same experiences.

All sorts of BS excuses, simply trying to get you to stop bothering them and accept the fact that the “top” cashback should be theirs to keep and you should get $0.

Would recommend that you do your time and wallet a favor by avoiding topcashback.

btw. TCB used to send damage control to these threads to paste generic canned responses that show 0 interest to resolve any issue. But seems to have stopped to even attempt to appear legit now.

Hey Nick,

Certainly no BS here, we pass on 100% of any cashback given to us by retailers back to our members. So if you’ve had cashback declined, this would be the retailer’s decision entirely and your transaction validated in accordance with their T&C’s. if you haven’t met their terms or they trace your transaction back to another marketing channel, such as a rival cashback site, we wouldn’t receive a commission, which means we wouldn’t have cashback to pass back to you. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like some help to dispute a retailer’s decision in any way, we’d be happy to advise further over a support ticket from your account or via our social media channels.

Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Dan,

I can see you’ve copied and pasted your comments from another Doc of Credit blog post, so I’ll also reply to you with the same response I’ve written to you previously:

Hi Dan,

I’d have to interject here as these points are simply not true. We would never ‘indirectly threaten’ any member to not contact a retailer. We’d only advise members to not contact retailers directly as cashback programs for retailers are handled by 3rd party network agencies. As such retailer’s support staff may not be aware of their affiliate programs or even be clued-up on the cashback process, so they’re not always the best people to advise you, so this is simply what is implied.
You’ve also said that we “CANNOT escalate ANY issue with a vendor”, again, not true. Most retailers on-site with us are more than happy to look into disputes where cashback fails to track for whatever reason or if you feel it has been calculated incorrectly. There are some retailers we have which do not look into disputes, but this is a very small percentage and we are always up-front with members about this and wherever this is the case, it is noted in the retailer’s cashback T&C’s.
Your final comment concerning missing cashback claims is again a misleading comment. We have 4,000+ retailers on-site with us, and all will have their own ways of dealing with claims and will stipulate their own terms where disputes are concerned. For example, hotel retailers will not even begin to look at a claim until 1 -2 months following your stay dates. This is not a policy set-out by ourselves but by the retailer. If a claim was sent before they’re willing to look into it, they’d reject it immediately and gone is any chance we’d have of disputing the case for you. So any ‘on-ice’ periods for claims are there only to operate in-line with the requirements of that retailer.

I hope this helps to clarify these points for the other members reading some of your false information, and if you’d like to get in touch personally I’d have no problem shedding further light on any aspect of our cashback process or questions about your account/cashback.

Have a great day 🙂

^Patrick

My offer says expires 10/14/2019 6:00:00 AM but doesn’t specify time zone. Anybody else seeing this?

Yes. If you click the T&Cs link it says: You must make a purchase through TopCashback between October 11, 2019 00:00 PT and October 13, 2019 23:59 PT.

I would trust the time in the T&C, not the unspecific 6am time.

I finally have an amount sitting in payable! I’ve made a handful of purchases starting in July and they all tracked but had been pending for-ev-er. Now that one finally cleared I can consider using it again.

Hey Burton,

I was sorry you feel that our cashback is a little slow to progress. We agree that we are a little slower than some of our competitors. The reason for this is that TopCashback pass on 100% of the commission we receive for your sale as cashback to you. Some of our competitors, Ebates for instance, don’t pass on 100% of the commission. This enables them to hold a little behind in a fund where they can use this to pay their members a little earlier before they receive the funds themselves. But as a company who set out to save our members as much money as possible, we think it’s better and all-round fairer to do it our way, even though it may take a little longer to clear.

Thanks,
Patrick

Just an FYI you may have to fight for this. I clicked ‘Activate’ last time they had this offer twice and made two purchases that day directly after clicking. I had to open a case and fight for it because they still claimed I didn’t activate it.

Were your purchases eligible for a reward?
That was the gotcha that someone posted here the last time there was this kind of offer.
eBay tends to be slow to paid out probably because of the lengthy return policy.
