- This offer is not transferable.
- Your account must remain open, have available credit, and be current (no minimum payment past due) to qualify.

How do they tell what exactly is an online purchase?

Online purchase is a different payment mode than card-present transactions..
My thoughts exactly. What if I pay my electric bill online? Or buy a flight off a website? I’m going to call in and report back.
I got a similar offer last year for what at the time was the US Bank Club Carlson Visa (now Radisson Rewards), for 2,500 points after a certain amount in online transactions. I confirmed with a phone rep that any online transaction would count, so I used to pay my Verizon bill. The points never posted so I sent in a secure message where they responded that the purchases I made didn’t qualify. I called in and they were able to give me the points. I actually got 7,500 as the rep said he didn’t have the ability to issue anything less than that.
Have you called? I did and they confirmed bill payments don’t count.
Sorry, just realized I never responded back. Life got busy. I confirmed with the rep that paying utility bills online count. But she said to save the email since it wasn’t showing up on my account even though I have the email.
