Our Verdict
There is also a $100 bonus on this card so you really need to compare this offer to that. If you max out the 5% categories you’d be spending $10,000 (you could spend $2,000 per quarter for five quarters in your first year as we are mid quarter at the moment) and that would net you $50. The 1.5% category isn’t worth considering as there are cards that earn at a higher rate than that. That means you’d need to spend over $10,000 in the first year on the everyday category you pick, just keep in mind there are cards that earn at higher rates on those purchases as well. For example:
Because of that I wouldn’t recommend this offer to anybody. Stick with the $100 bonus instead. Remember, that when applying for US Bank credit cards, it’s useful to freeze your IDA and ARS credit reports. It’s also worth reading 20 Things Everybody Should Know About US Bank Credit Cards before applying.

I got a us+ card about 11 months ago and I got the $100 and the $250for redeeming. Call them directly and ask about it.
*$25 for redeeming.
Also, US Bank have one time bonus of $25 for redeeming $100 or more.
One quick question, can we apply for multiple USBank Cash+ accounts.
Thought they stopped that ($25 bonus when redeeming $100)…
Really didnt know that
wait wait. its EITHER OR? $100 sign up or 0.5% extra? i tried looking in TC but nothing definitive in either app saying you WILL get $100 or .5% or whatever except for the landing pages.
They are two different sign up pages and each is considered a sign up bonus I believe so you can only pick one.
I clicked through the direct link on the old page (for the $100 sign-up bonus, about a year old) and saw BOTH the bonus of $100 after spending $500 in 90 days and the additional 0.50% cash back in the first year, as well as the $25 cash bonus on your first $100 single redemption.
There is also a targeted $200 sign up bonus but it has a unique Confirmation Code.
