The Offer
U.S Bank is offering the following bonuses:
- 15,000 miles after your first purchase and a $150 statement credit after $1,500 in spend within 90 days of account opening on the Visa Signature Personal Korean SKYPASS credit card & Business credit card
- 15,000 miles after your first purchase and a $100 statement credit after $1,500 in spend within 90 days of account opening on the Classic & SkyBlue SKYPASS credit card
Our Verdict
Don’t think it’s worth considering the lower/no annual fee versions of these cards as the extra $50 and 10,000 miles should more than make up for the difference. U.S Bank has offered targeted bonuses of 40,000 miles on this card before (check to see if you’re targeted) and often offer 30,000 miles (15k after first purchase and another 15k after $2,000 in spend). 15,000 miles isn’t really enough to do anything, but you can transfer from SPG, Chase & Diners Club.
In the past they have also offered 15,000 miles + $100, so this is an improvement on that offer. Personally I still don’t think these offers are worth seriously considering unless you have a real need for 15,000 miles (and even then I’d say that transferring in miles would make more sense).
