UBS Business Visa Infinite Card – 50,000 Point Bonus (+ 50,000 Points After Paying Second Annual Fee)

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • UBS has launched three business cards and the UBS Visa Infinite Business card is offering a sign up bonus of up to 100,000 points (worth up to $1,800). Bonus is broken down as follows:
    • 50,000 points after $10,000 in spend within the first three months
    • 50,000 points after you pay the second year annual fee

The Fine Print

  • This bonus offer is not available to either current or previous UBS credit card members.
  • To receive the initial 50,000 Bonus Rewards Points you must make $10,000 in eligible purchases on your UBS Visa Business Infinite card or UBS Visa Infinite credit card within 3 months of bonus rewards points account opening and to receive an additional 50,000 Bonus Rewards Points the annual fee in the second year must be paid (for a possible total of 100,000 Bonus Rewards Points).
  • Allow 6 to 8 weeks for Bonus Rewards Points to post to your account.
  • Your period to spend the total $10,000 may be shorter than three months bonus rewards points if there is a delay in receiving your card.
  • Also, bonus rewards points purchases may fall outside the three-month period in some cases, such as a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction. (For example, if you buy goods online, the purchase date may be the date the goods are shipped.) Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or any kind, including annual fee, interest charges, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, or any checks that access your account. This bonus offer is valid only for new card accounts and only one bonus is available per card account, regardless of the number of cardholders on that card account. All cardholder spend counts towards the spend requirements. Must apply by July 31, 2020. To be eligible for this bonus offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. If you receive and apply for this offer but do not satisfy the requirements, you will not receive any new account bonus. This promotional offer is only available for clients who have a UBS account at the time of credit card application. All applications subject to credit approval. Points can be redeemed at any time after they have been earned, as long as the account stays open and in good standing

Card Details

  • $550 annual fee, not waived first year
  • Priority Pass select membership
  • $500 credit towards any Airport Club
  • $500 credit for any qualifying air travel expenses

Our Verdict

This card comes with a $550 annual fee that is not waived first year. The personal card is probably a better option as the annual fee is waived first year. Problem with UBS is always getting approved. You also need to have a UBS account to be eligible, so most people won’t be. You’ll also need an actual business to have any chance at this.

How to get a UBS account for this requirement? “This promotional offer is only available for clients who have a UBS account at the time of credit card application.”

If I miss the first 50000 points by not spending the $10K, can I still get the second 50000 when I pay the second annual fee?

Current UBS personal Visa Infinite holder here. They pull TU and I was low FICO 700s with a card maxed out and a ton of inquiries, still got approved. Underwriting is not a concern.

I called in and confirmed that their business paperwork requirement is non-existent, therefore anyone with a “business” can go for it. Visa Infinite Business is great deal for first two years:

110k bonus(Worth $1900)
$350 air credit X3 with AA gift cards($1050)
-Annual fee $550
=$2450 net gain

William Charles It literally says annual fee waived, why do you say not waived? And it says $350 in air travel credits not $500
