- United is offering bonus miles under their Mile Play promotion when you complete certain requirements before July 31st, 2018. Everybody receives a different offer based on their flying history. Some sample offers:
- Spend $500 and earn 9,700 bonus miles, spend $1,000 total and earn 21,800 bonus miles

The Fine Print
- Must register by July 17th, 2018
- Bonus will post to your MileagePlus account six to eight weeks after the promotion ends on July 31, 2018. Qualifying spend will be calculated using the originally ticketed fare and/or fare classes and Economy Plus® purchases, as applicable, and subsequent changes to any fare and/or fare classes as a result of itinerary changes, complimentary or paid upgrade, purchase of travel products (including but not limited to United ClubSM, Premier Access®, Award Accelerator®, Premier AcceleratorSM), irregular operations or otherwise will not be considered.
Our Verdict
This is basically the same promotion they have had before, previously called ‘Miles Play’. In fact one of those promotions is still running until the 05/13, I suspect if you are targeted for that promotion you won’t be targeted for this promotion, but if you are then flights before 5/13 should effectively count for both.
