[Didn’t Happen] Upcoming eBay Sitewide Sale (PRESENTSGALORE): 15% off Everything, 10% Electronics, Max $100 Discount [Sunday, 12/16]

[Update 12/16/18: They ended up running the 10-15% sitewide deal yesterday, and today they put out a category discount deal.]

The Offer

  • eBay will be offering 10% off electronics and 15% off all other categories on Sunday, December 16th. Use promo code: PRESENTSGALORE
  • No minimum purchase required, and maximum discount of $100.

The Fine Print

  • Valid Sunday 12/16 from 7AM PST to 7PM PST
  • Excludes Gift Cards & Coupons, Coins & Paper Money, Real Estate, Warranties

Our Verdict

Good to have a headsup for these sales in case you’re eyeing buying something. This offer gets maxed out with $1,000 in electronics or $666 in all other purchases. Remember to use a shopping portal for your eBay purchases.

This info is coming from Slickdeals. There have been some false calls in the past, but I’m guessing this is legit. We’ll update with a direct link if/when there is one.

Hey Doc, I think you’re going to have to remove this post. It’s not working. Just the ‘PDECKTHEHALLS’ code for Home Goods works today

Dang! totally got mislead by this post –
PRESENTSGALORE doesn’t work and there is no 15% sitewide today.
And stupid of Ebay to change the deal date to a day earlier. Are they playing us?
A lot of potential buyers can hold off

I saw “eBay sitewide sale 15% off everything Sunday 12/16” so I I bought $600 in ebay gift cards and loaded up $650 worth of stuff in my car and waited for this morning. Now I find out that it was just a bait and switch. DoC – your article is incorrect and misleading. I always get burned on these sorts of things.

I am not sure if this will work or not….but terms which DoC has clearly laid out – code is active from 7am PST.

Ha thanks, I guess I should clearly look at terms before I b**ch too much, but in my defense the time window isn’t the issue.

Right in the article it says: “This info is coming from Slickdeals. There have been some false calls in the past, but I’m guessing this is legit. We’ll update with a direct link if/when there is one.”

15% was offered yesterday, we posted that this deal might not go ahead because of that and we even warned in this post that there was no official confirmation. Not sure how you can say the post was misleading.

I think ebay was miffed that it leaked and instead of removing it completely they advanced it. The limit is lowered now to $75 max.

Will this work if I’ve won an auction by a private individual? Or does it only work for store fronts on eBay? Thanks in advance to anyone with info!

If its sitewide as posted then it should work. Best part is you can win the auction before and pay during coupon validity to get the discount.

Pretty sweet deal for the AMD 2920X, free shipping+no tax+10% discount… beats Amazon by a lot due to them charging tax.

If this chain works, Happy GC from S&S, OD or Staples first, then use them at BBB to get ebay GC with rebate back from BBB and then use the eBay GCs to buy other GCs at 15% off from non-GC category if there are any good deals still alive when the ebay deal opens up. Head spins to do the %,,,lets just say it is a good deal-chain or give it a name called “The Deal Train”.

How much is the gas going to cost running around to all those stores? Anyways, Staples in store only carries the $25 happy gift cards.

It would be about $0.25 in my case. ~shrug~

The gas isn’t much, but time value of money is a thing.

GCs from non-GC category? what does that mean?
