Wells Fargo has added a new tool that lets consumers check to see if they are pre-selected for a credit card. Checking for these pre-approved offers does not impact your credit score and existing Wells Fargo customers can log in to retrieve their details.
It’s unclear if Wells Fargo will offer better than normal sign up bonuses through this tool or if only standard bonuses will be offered. In addition it’s unclear if these are true ‘pre-approved offers’ (e.g most people will actually be approved if they are pre-selected as long as circumstances aren’t significantly different after a hard credit inquiry is done) or not.
