Wells Fargo Business Credit Card Conversions (Wells Fargo Signify Business Essential Mastercard)

Last month some existing Wells Fargo credit card customers received a letter stating that their card would be converted to a new product in February. Cardholders have received a new letter advising them that the new card will be called Wells Fargo Signify Business Essential Mastercard. Details regarding the change can be found here. Full guide to benefits here.

I suspect this is the same as the new Wells Fargo business card that is being launched. Although there is reference to two other card names as well:

  • Signify Business Cash Mastercard
  • Signify Business Elite Mastercard

The new card does come with Priority Pass membership, but it’s pay as you go so probably not useful for most people.

Hat tip to YAR.

Has anyone had issues with the cards not working when swiped, but only when tapped?

Got the card today. I think it’s my first card without a signature panel.

Signify cash SUB will be $500/$5k spend.

If you go to https://smallbusinessproductselector.wellsfargo.com/customer, select, in turn:

  • “Get credit to pay expenses for my existing business,” then
  • “Credit card for day-to-day expenses,” then
  • Any amount of sales

The product selecter should show information on the Signify Cash card, including $500/$5k/3 mo SUB, 2% cashback, 0 AF, and 0 APR for the first 12 months.

T&C are also here: https://www.wellsfargo.com/biz/business-credit/credit-cards/signify-business-cash-credit-card-terms-conditions/

I cancelled mine with the hopes I’ll qualify for the new version with a SUB.

Finally got the notice about the conversion this week. Signed up for the card ($300 bonus CC bonus, no hard pull) when opening biz account promo bonus in branch about a year ago, nice double dip. Offer popped up on banker screen and accepted. Hit required CC spend and been dormant since with 20k CL. Leaning towards canceling prior to conversion, what say everyone else?

Hopefully redeeming points still gets 1.5 cpp when redeeming for airline tickets.

I’m hoping they keep the “online redemtpion rebate” as well.

Same. With this redemption value, the WF Active Cash becomes a 3% back everywhere card when redeemed for flights through their portal (since Active Cash cash back can be combined with WF points).

Guessing the transfer partner reveal will be in February as well?

Anyone know if the new business cards will have a sign up bonus? And if so, will those of us that keep the converted cards be ineligible for the SUB that we could get by applying for the card outright? Deciding whether I need to close my account prior to the conversion date.

They’re staggering out the notification and conversion dates probably based on when people signed up for the WF Biz Plat CC.

Could be better to be part of the later wave to get DPs whether or not to cancel or keep CC based on benefits and future bonus qualifiers for WF Biz Signify CC.

Interestingly enough, I didn’t realize they were staggering the conversion. I was converted in February. More interesting is that the conversion dates apply through June 06, 2024. if you change the month to April, May, or June it will show you the conversion date letter.

Wondering when the new business credit card lineup will be available to apply for online. 7 months without the ability to apply for a business credit card online from the 3rd largest bank in the country may be a record. I know Wells Fargo moves slowly but this launch has been extremely dragged out. Similar to the Autograph Journey launch.

Wish I could convert but they won’t give me a card.
