Wells Fargo Go Far Rewards: 20% At Home Depot & 40% Cashback at Panera, Buffalo Wings, Jimmy John’s, Papa John’s and P.F. Chang’s [Targeted]

They just added 20% at Home Depot as well. Thanks to reader Steve.

The Offer

Check your Wells Fargo Go Far Rewards login for a cashback offer at select eateries:

  • Get 40% cashback at Panera Bread, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jimmy John’s, Papa John’s and P.F. Chang’s

Update: some are showing 40% discount while others are seeing lower discounts like 10% or 15%.

The Fine Print

  • Offer expires June 10, 2018 11:59pm EST.
  • Must activate offer to qualify.
  • In-store only.
  • Offer changes will require re-activation of the new offer.
  • Bonus Cash Rewards will be earned when using your Wells Fargo rewards-based credit card for qualifying purchases made at participating dining locations.
  • Bonus Cash Rewards will be earned based on the net purchase (purchases minus returns/credits) of eligible goods and services purchased, excluding tax, shipping and handling, or any special services.
  • Bonus Cash Rewards will be added to your Rewards Account within 30 days of purchase.
  • Bonus Cash Rewards will not be earned at dining locations who are not Participating Merchants in the Earn More Mall Feature.”

Our Verdict

Excellent offer, with a respectable $40 cap, max it out with $100 in purchases. Not sure if this is showing for everyone or targeted. Might also show different things for different people – let us know what you see.

It might even work up to $40 for each restaurant separately – let us know if you have a data point on that. Should be able to buy a gift card at these restaurants as well to trigger the cashback and lock in the discount.

Anyone have issues with the Papa John’s Deal? I Added 4 Offer to my Earn More Mall Account on My Visa Signature card. Each is for 40 Bonus points for $1 spent at the following merchants. Buffalo Wild Wings, Papa John’s Pizza, Panera Bread, and PF Changs. I completed all four of these offers and spent $100 at each merchant. 3 of the offers show earned in my account and I see the total of 12,000 points pending for these 3 offers but the 4th one for Papa Johns is not showing as earned and is not pending and this was the first transaction I made. Anyone else have something like this happen?

I didn’t spend at Papa John’s, so I cannot provide much help. My offers posted (Panera & Buffalo). Does Papa John show on your list of transactions? Perhaps it is just slow to post since you say the other ones are pending. Has it been longer than 30 days?

Papa Johns shows as A Charge I made but is like it didn’t recognize it for the offer. the 12,000 from the other 3 vendors are already in my account and able to be used. The papa john’s transaction was on June 29th.

Blake It sounds like you will have to call them and let them know you made the purchase during the promotion period and ask them when you might expect to see the bonus. Did you get a “Congratulations on earning cash rewards” email?

Yeah I already talked to them and I’m fighting with them they are making up terms and saying with Papa John’s the purchase can only be $40 or under which it doesn’t say anywhere will update once I hear back.

Do you have a copy of the terms? Ask them to send you a copy of the terms they say they have. I hope you are successful and have a positive outcome.

I’ve been checking for weeks and finally got the offer today that expires tomorrow, but only for 15%, capped at $266 in spend. Doesn’t seem like a great deal when I can probably gift cards with deeper discount. Congrats to everyone that was able to snag 40%. 😔

Would be nicer to have the actual “Wells Fargo Go Far Rewards login” site– https://gofarrewards.wf.com –listed. I had no clue it’s a separate site, until I came across it in an SD thread. Prior to that, I kept checking my WF Cash Reward CC on the regular WF site and found nothing.

the link is already within the WF website and also within the app. u dont have to go directly to Go Far. its the same thing with the TYP website. direct link and also solo access.

I got the 40% at Home Depot. Went there today to buy some stuff and maybe a gift card and found that they didn’t have any $200 gift cards at all. I’m hoping it was just that store being out of inventory temporarily.

My offer was a max bonus of 10,000 points, so $100 back on $250 purchase.

Does the Home Deport offer exclude gift cards? Is it really equivalent to 20% cashback? The terms mention “eligible goods and services purchased” but do not define what are considered “eligible”.

bax I read the fine print. It does not exclude gift cards. The only caveat is, it says “20% Bonus Cash Rewards In-Store at Home Depot on your first purchase” so just make sure you only do this in the store once.

please help me here:
I have 20% off Home Depot and 40% of Panera that I want to max out. However My $175 fee on Propel World has just posted. I was planing to cancel this card in next few days to have the fee refunded.
1. Does anyone know if points from this offer posts quickly?
2. Is it possible that I can cancel the card before points post and I still get the points in Go Far program
3. I do not want to product change, but do you think this is an option here? Is worth doing it just for this offer?

Thank you

Moldova I believe it can take up to 30 days to see the points post. You will get an email notification but it takes a bit of time to actually receive the bonus. For example, I got an email on 6/6 saying I received an award, but it hasn’t posted yet. Anyone else know?

Hello, I received the points from my 40% bonus points from my in-store Papa John gift card purchase before my statement credit came due. It did take a couple of weeks, however.

How much did you spend at Papa John’s? They are now making up terms and telling me the purchase had to be $40 or under which makes no sense

Winner winner chicken dinner!
Oops – it’s Home Depot, not BW3. Perhaps it’s a new kitchen appliance to cook the chicken in!

I wish Wells Fargo deals were automatic statement credits like Bank of America deals. Building up $25 in rewards on a card I never use sucks.
