Our Verdict
This seems like a good bonus if you can confirm it’s a soft pull to open, you should be able to use any tax refund you receive to trigger the direct deposit requirement and hopefully other work arounds would do the trick as well. I doubt you’ll be able to fund the account with a credit card due to the in branch opening requirement but who knows.
If you have any experience with this bank, please add it in the comments. When we have more information we may add it to our list of the best bank bonuses, for now it’ll just be added to the complete list of all bonuses.
My bonus posted last week exactly 60 days after my first DD. I didn’t have to go back into the branch to get it either.
Can’t find the deal on their website anymore. Is it because they took it off or because its leap day?
Will add it was a soft pull and the lady processing my account stated that they do indeed accept CC funding but that it would most assuredly be processed as a cash advance.
I went ahead and changed my payroll to have 10% of each net deposited so I cannot vouch for what counts to get the bonus. If one can make it to one of the branches I would say it is worth it.
hello, Josh. Have u got the bonus?
Nope. Will report back as soon as I do
Bonus finally posted today
Congrats! how long since your first DD?
Agree with Josh. Ventured out to the Cicero branch. But staff was extremely friendly.
I joined a couple of days ago. Nice and accommodating staff. Their APP and internet presence does leave a little to be desired.
Hmm it’s a 45 minute drive from my house. Not sure if I can convince my wife to do it. If I can, I’ll report back
I may try and stop by one of their Chicagoland branches over the next week or so. I’ll report back.
Currently at college, but once I go home valentines day weekend I will try to stop here and open an account and dig in to give you some data points. Probably won’t be able to CC load since in branch, but you never know. Still a good deal.
Thanks, JJ.
