- American Express is offering 5,000 Membership Rewards points when you add an authorized user to your Premier Rewards Gold card. That authorized user must also spend $500 within three months. You can add a total of 4 authorized users as part of this deal and get a total of 20,000 Membership Rewards points.
The Fine Print
- First five authorized users are free
- SSN is not required over the phone. Keep in mind American Express is good at linking accounts so I wouldn’t do this for somebody worried about their 5/24 status.
