[Expired][YMMV] Chase Offers/BofA: $3 Back On Amazon Prime Video

Update 5/6/22: Deal is back, $3 back on $3+

The Offer

  • Check your Chase Offer or Bank Amerideals for the following offer: earn $5 back when you join Amazon Prime Video

The Fine Print

  • Valid until 5/6/2020
  • Offer not valid with Amazon Prime Student
  • First monthly payment must be made 6/5/2020

Our Verdict

Strange offer as it mentions Amazon Prime Video, but also just joining Amazon Prime. Could be interesting to see what this actually works on, but given it’s only for a $5 maximum it’s not really that exciting.

All the good stuff are on IMDB TV. Amazon prime video titles are pretty blah.

This is humiliating, much more humiliating than someone who doesn’t have a broken Peloton bike!

William Charles my comments don’t seem to post in any of DOC discussion threads. Could you please help look into this? Thanks

No luck on my account, but I got $5.00 Cash Back on Misfits Market and 15% Green Chef.

My yearly Prime renewal fell in the window so surprised to see the $5 credit, but I’ll take it!

Signing up for a Prime Video $8.99 monthly membership does not trigger the credit. The charge posts as AMZN DIGITAL which is apparently different than the posting verbiage for the other Prime plans. This is basically false advertising since Amazon markets Prime Video monthly membership as one of the Amazon Prime plans. Also, as noted in the OP, Prime Video is prominently mentioned. I guess it’s not worth my time fighting with BofA support over this.

Can you please ban fake and real customer service shit on here? It’s all bullshit; farmer’s dog, HBO max Swagbucks are perfect examples where “customer service agents” have outright lied to everyone on here.  Chuck

Rented a $5.99 movie via Amazon Prime Video two days ago, posted as “Prime Video” on Freedom card – no sign of this offer being triggered unfortunately.

I know it says for membership but do we know if it counts for a purchase as well?
