The Fine Print
- Not all locations will have this deal
Our Verdict
If you find a location with stock at this price (or confirm a location has it listed at a higher price) please share in the comments. This deal is also profitable for resale.
Hat tip to SD
This may be an even better deal for free if you aren’t reselling. Sign up for the email list/loyalty program. Around your “birthday” they send you a free meal voucher with purchase of another. If I recall when I went a few years ago it was $50 per person for the standard food.
By all accounts that won’t work when paying with “Dining Cards”.
That’s what I’m getting at. It’s a dining card you don’t have to buy.
This is no longer true. For the past 3 years now, myself and all family members no longer receive the Buy one buffet get one Free coupon for birthdays. Its always a useless free dessert coupon. If I am paying ~$50 for a meat buffet, you can bet I am not saving room for mediocre dessert.
Thanks for the more recent DPs.
Thanks. I just signed up.
About re-selling angle, this…. from raise.com do not buy list:
“Texas de Brazil (Dining Cards are not accepted)”
(Also, thanks for the tips & warnings above… Anybody yet seen the actual card being sold via costco?)
Not sure what the visual difference is but the cards from Costco are white and say dining card
You are welcome. Didn’t want others to get stuck actually eating there if that wasn’t their intention when purchasing these.
Truly helpful caution, Carl… Part of what makes this venerable web site so valuable…. We routinely receive great content, timely tips — amplified by often exceptionally useful feedback (and alerts) from a diverse readership.
Hopefully these are actual Texas de Brazil Gift Cards, and not Texas de Brazil “Dining Cards”. There is a difference and not knowing the difference can be costly.
What’s the difference please!?!
@carl wilson
Appears to be “Dining Cards:”

I can’t seem to find the T&C’s of actual TdB GC’s. Guess those can only be purchased directly from TdB.
Normally I’d agree that discounted “Dining Cards” are a waste of time, but in this case, if they’re available 50% off, in my book that makes ’em worthwhile.
What’s the difference?
If memory serves, there’s the “real” gift cards (that it seems you can ONLY get direct from Texas de Brazil). Those cards have *no* restrictions that I’m aware of. The other cards (Costco, etc.) cannot be used in conjunction with *any* other discount/coupon/etc. This includes the birthday (free desert coupon), and in some stores, the “happy hour” drink specials count as a discount and can’t be used with the cards either.
However, it’s not a terrible deal (we get the VIP card which entitles you to 12 50% discounted meals, and can be combined with Happy Hour, but not other coupons).
unless the price changed since Saturday, the Pittsburgh (homestead location) Costco was $149
Metro Detroit Michigan has them at $150 for (4) $50 GC’s
holy shit. i love this place. also fogo de chao.
wonder if this is available in CA. plz let us know if u see.
