Dosh: Up To 50% Off All Hotels

Update 7/9/19: This has now launched, Dosh is now saying you can get up to 50% back on these bookings (up from 40%). Full press release here.

The Offer

  • Dosh is currently offering some members up to 40% of all hotels, I believe this deal is due to go live to everybody on July 4th. Usually when we see something like 40% off hotels, there is no real discount when comparing to other online travel agencies.

The Fine Print

  • Not available to everybody

Our Verdict

According to FM the rates aren’t increased that much, so the 40% cash back is actually useful. I think a lot of time stacking deals with Hotels.com will still be better, but it’s definitely easier to do the Dosh deal and it might offer a bigger discount sometimes. Booking this will almost certainly not count as booking directly, so keep in mind you won’t have status recognized or have the nights count towards elite status. My appreciation if you use my signup code CHUCKS2 during signup; you’ll get a $1 bonus after you link a card.

Hey did you find on? I have same question. Wondering if it’ll trigger my Chase $300 travel credit.

I charged the hotel through Dosh to my Wells Fargo Propel Amex card. The charge was categorized as travel and I got triple points for it.

I don’t know if that helps you out with your Chase question but I assume it would categorize the same.

Did the signup bonus really drop to $1? They’re getting worse and worse.

I guess it could be useful for the non chain places that don’t participate in ebates / rakuten or something. But a spot check of two city/wknd pairs showed generally very modest cash back amounts. Like $5 on $200 bookings.

I’m not seeing cash back at anywhere near 40% on my offers. Anywhere from 4-12% for most of them.

I saw some 20-30% off but every time I clicked on the room to start the booking process I got the “no longer available” message. Sucks that they are all non-refundable as well.
