- Retiring to hotels: good idea, or great idea? by Freequent Flyer. Interesting look at how much it would cost to retire in different hotel chains and the opportunity cost of doing so at each chain. It would’ve been interesting to see what type of local apartment you would’ve been able to get on AirBnB at each location as well.
- Bring This To Bank Of America For The $2000 Offer by Chasing The Points. Easily one of the best, if not the best checking account bonus that is currently available. You can bring in the flyer to help the sign up process, feel free to read through our coverage of this bonus here.
- CoinRebates Bitcoin Cash Back Shopping Network by Maximizing Money. Interesting concept and will probably do quite well with the Bitcoin community, but the rates don’t look at all competitive to me.
- Pick Up At Least 5,000 Free Miles Before Your Aegean Elite Status Expires! by Running With Miles. Seems like a good opportunity to pick up some miles if you have elite status with Aegean.
- Chase Lounge Returning to Disney’s Epcot This Fall! by Mommy Points. Heard this gets pretty crowded now that it’s open to all Chase cardholders, but if you’re a Chase Disney cardholder there are some special events for you and you should be able to get access to the special viewing platform as well.
- Is Bank of America Cracking Down on the $100 Alaska Airlines Statement Credit? by PointsCentric. This seems quite strange, I think it’s possible that the reader that reported this actually signed up through the wrong link. The $100 statement offer doesn’t mention that it’s necessary to complete an Alaska booking to get the statement credit, so I would think it would be an open and shut complaint with the CFPB.
