- When linked to a Chase Premier Plus Checking, Chase Premier Platinum or Chase Private Client Checking
Our Verdict
Chase regularly offers bonuses of $200 for their savings account (and $300 for their checking account) but the savings account usually requires a deposit of $15,000 for 90 days. This is an option for people that don’t have $15,000, or can’t float $15,000 for 90 days. The account basically earns no interest and you’d need to keep $300 in there after the 90 days are up for another three months or so to hit that six month mark so you don’t forfeit the bonus (or do the recurring transfer from Chase checking).
Probably not worth going into a Chase branch just for this, but you could do it with the $500 business checking bonus and also try to get around the 5/24 rules for Chase cards when in branch as well. I’m going to add this bonus to our best saving account bonuses.
