Yesterday I a received a tweet from @FreeTravelGuys (website) letting me know that when they called Chase reconsideration they were receiving an automated message saying that the both the Chase personal & business reconsideration lines saying that they were closed and stating the office hours of 7AM-10PM.
Today reader Nerbil let me know he ran into the same issue, instead of giving up he called the regular business line and was told the following:
Called normal business card line and they said that all lending offices are closed for the next 3 days for “system upgrades” and won’t open again until the 28th
Chances are they are just upgrading their phone systems or other back end systems, although it’s possible this has to do with the change to the 5/24 rules we’re expecting sometime in March for business cards and April for co-branded cards. Either way, you won’t be able to call Chase reconsideration until the 28th.
