[Dead] Free $10 At Amazon.com For Mastercard Cardholders – Won’t Last Long

The Offer

I didn’t need to do some of those steps, but other people on Slickdeals found it was necessary.

mastercard

The Fine Print

  • Offer is only valid for a limited time and good while supplies last
  • Maximum benefit you an recieve is $10 off on items shipped and sold by Amazon.com
  • Digital content and gift cards are excluded.
  • You may redeem your credit by purchasing eligible products by 11:59PM PT on January 14th, 2017
  • Limit one credit per customer
  • Purchase must be made using a valid Mastercard credit card

Our Verdict

This is a nice and relatively easy $10, doesn’t seem to be any minimum spend requirement. As always, we’d appreciate it if you use our Amazon links to make your purchases. Let me know what you got for free in the comments. Might be able to stack it with this $25 off $75 deal as well. I’m also going to send this out as an instant alert for those signed up, as I don’t think this will last.

Just got an email from them:
In connection with the MasterCard 1-Click promotion, we ran a limited-supply offer of $10 off of a qualifying purchase. You were unable redeem the offer prior to it expiring due to high popularity and the limited supply of offers available. Because you are a valued cardmember, I’ve added a $10 Amazon.com promotional certificate to your account.

Just received email from Amazon:

“Hello,

In connection with the MasterCard 1-Click promotion, we ran a limited-supply offer of $10 off of a qualifying purchase. You were unable redeem the offer prior to it expiring due to high popularity and the limited supply of offers available. Because you are a valued cardmember, I’ve added a $10 Amazon.com promotional certificate to your account.

Your available balance appears in the payment section when you place a qualifying order for new items shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Eligible funds will be automatically applied to your qualifying order(s). This promotional balance doesn’t appear in Your Account (you’ll only see gift card balances there). To view the Terms and Conditions for using your promotional funds, go to our Help pages:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?nodeId=201134220

We look forward to seeing you again soon!”

I added the promotion but did not buy anything.

Got the same email. I had actually purchased something just minutes after this was posted, but there is mysteriously no record of the order through Amazon or on my credit card. I guess I can buy it again with the $10 promotion in my account now.

Was the offer’s fine print misleading or did I just simply misunderstand it? I successfully added the promo (with screen print) to my account but didn’t purchase. Today, I no longer see it on my account. The terms indicate to me that you only need to add the offer and have until Jan 14th. Seems just deliberately convenient to easily misinterpret.

Looks like the deal is dead, the link leads to an error page and I also could not see a $10 off on my order even when I had added this to my account earlier following the instructions.

Tried only a moment ago though having seen it last night. Pity if it’s dead already.

I tried with both Opera Mini and Chrome on my phone. Complete failure with Opera, with no “sorry” page showing up at all. With, Chrome, the “sorry” page did show up, but I was not able to scroll down at all. Alternatively I tried Safari on my laptop, ending up with the same result like that in Chrome, not able to scroll down on the “sorry” page.

Seems to be dead after looking at multiple other forums and trying on different accounts

Do we need to use 1-click ordering to get the $10 credit to show up or does it show up at normal checkout as well?

thanks blue9 for the detailed instructions as I needed the assistance!

Unfortuntely, the offer didn’t show up for me in incogtino mode (“we’re sorry…” didn’t show up–just the normal mobil sign in.

For sure dead. I even had it applied, but did not purchase. It WAS showing the -$10 in my cart, but does not now.
