The Offer
- US Bank Visa credit cardholders are eligible for a free $15 statement credit with Visa Checkout.
Here’s what to do:
- Create a new Visa Checkout account using this link:Â http://mycard.usbank.com/15visacheckout
- Enroll your eligible U.S. Bank Visa Consumer or Business credit card in a new Visa Checkout by August 15, 2015.
I interpret this to mean that you have to open a new Visa Checkout account (with the above link) and add the US Bank card to the Visa Checkout account.
The Fine Print
- Valid through August 15, 2015.
- US Bank Visa consumer or business credit card only. No debit, no Mastercard.
- No purchase necessary, apparently.
- Statement credit appears 10-12 weeks after Offer Period.
- Limit one statement credit per person.
Our Verdict
If you already have a Visa Checkout account, you should be able to open a new Visa Checkout account (with a separate email address), add your US Bank card, and get the $15 credit.
If you already have your US Bank credit card added to a Visa Checkout account, it may work to delete the card from the existing account, then open a new account and add the card.

My credit posted on 14th Oct for 15$. I signed up with CC card before 20$ link surfaced.
Yup, me too!
Anyone seeing the credits from this? starting to think I should have bought something small
I don’t see it yet.
I used my US Bank FlexPerks AMEX and it seemed to accept the card. My FlexPerks Visa, Club Carlson Personal and Club Carlson Business cards all worked with new Visa Checkout accounts.
Just because it let you add the card doesn’t mean you will get the $15. It specifically says the promotion is only for Visa. Please advise if you actually do receive the $15 for each.
Will do. I should know right away as soon as the $15 statement credits post if the FlexPerks AMEX was accepted.
Unfortunately I only have a US Bank MasterCard so I’m not eligible. Did anyone get the credit for the last Capital One Visa Checkout deal?
Wow, no purchase necessary?! That’s crazy talk…haha thanks for sharing!
will it work with a visabuxx card? I canceled my Avianca LifeMiles Visa last mth.
Try it and let us know, I don’t think so.
