Our Verdict

First of all I love that Garuda call their own deal deal of the year, that’s fantastic. Second, there are some very important things to know:

1. You must go to a Garuda ticketing office with your physical membership card and passport before December 31st, 2016. Click here to search those by country. You should be able to call in first and reserve the award and then go to a ticketing office later. The ones in the United States are:
   • 16250 Venture Boulevard, Suite 115 Encino, CA
   • 101 North Wacker Drive, Suite 350 Chicago, Il
   • 3050 Post Oak Boulevard, Suite 350, Houston, TX
   • One Penn Plaza, Suite 1416, New York, NY
2. This is only for Garuda metal and not partner awards (route map here)
3. Citi ThankYou points are the only ones to transfer to Garuda

This deal is ridiculously good if you live near a ticketing office and have a physical card already, otherwise you’re probably not going to get yours in time.
