At one point, they stopped carrying the $500 Visa gift cards, but they are now back, and you can order a max of $2,500 total in one order – four $500 cards and one $450 card. There is a $6.95 fee for each card, and the $1.99 shipping fee is waived with the promo code.

The Fine Print

  • Promo code is valid through 12/20/15
  • Only $1.99 fee for USPS First Class Shipping option is waived with code

Our Verdict

Visa cards used to earn G Money Points on giftcards.com, but that stopped a few months ago. Without the shipping fees, it ends up $6.95 per card, and some may be interested in this to help meet a minimum spend.

You can load these to Bluebird or Serve at Walmart and they should also work to load Serve at Family Dollar, Rite Aid, or Dollar General.

Just bought These to hit Min. Spend. I should have no problem buying MO’s in WM, right?

1) Removal of G rewards makes it less lucrative deal now.

2) Is anyone facing problem with loading BB at WM using the $500 GC’s? 1 of my local WM is refusing to load via Debit GC’s. at all and 2nd one allowed only one load of $500 and nothing more……moreover their Looks and expressions are not worth mentioning (if looks could kill….i would be dead)……wassup with that?

The Visa cards from this web site are without a pin. Therefore, they are like AMEX GC.

Pretty sure that’s inaccurate.

I haven’t ordered from giftcards.com for a few weeks, personally, but look up in this thread: people confirm these are not like the giftcardmall.com pinless vgc.

My experience has been the same. I last ordered in October.

Just ordered four $500 cards as well as one $450, got the confirmation and within minutes got the “your order has been canceled by your financial institution.” Went to account and it showed $1 was charged and then immediately refunded. No attempt to charge the full amount. Bank says problem is with giftcards.com. Guess I failed their security measures despite successfully ordering from them on three previous occasions.

I used to have this problem with Barclays, Amex, and Citi. Never did have the problem with Chase but Chase allows almost all charged even if the billing address is not the same as the one I have with them. I haven’t had problems recently though even with a new card.

I tried to order a few today and noticed they removed Discover as a payment method. I could swear that I used my Discover here before but I could be wrong. That stinks.

I’m with Octavio on this one. It’s less than 1.5% for the fee and most of my cards that I use give the equivalent of 2%.

For Josh, you Re thinking of GiftCardLab or GiftCardMall. I loaded one of these to my BB yesterday.

Why do I feel like I’ve read these cards no longer have PIN functionality

Meh, $7 to buy these visa gift cards is still pretty darn steep. One can easily buy these are Walmart or grocery stores for cheaper.

Convenience is the key! Being able to MS from the comfort of your house without having to fill out paperwork (Simon Mall), hoping not to get denied or needing a manager to approve the transaction (certain grocery stores) or actually being denied for attempting to pay with a credit card (Walmart)
