American Express announced yesterday that Chili’s restaurant is joining their Plenti program. Points can be earned for Chili’s purchases and can also be redeemed there as well.
When Plenti first started out, points were difficult to earn and challenging to redeem. That changed when they started making various bonus offers, including bonus points at Rite Aid, bonuses for using the Plenti portal when shopping, and bonuses for things like getting a Nationwide insurance quote (I just got a 2k offer for that). Now the points are just challenging to redeem – earning comes easier.
Nice to see an added option for Chili’s goers. For the rest of us, the simplest option is to buy – often overpriced – gas at Exxon.
