Big Banks Lock Horns With Personal-Finance Web Portals by WSJ. Mint wasn’t able to access data from Chase for a few days. It’s working now, I believe, and I hope that continues. I don’t belittle the security issues, but convenience is hugely important also, and especially important for many of us who have dozens of cards and accounts. Hopefully, they can work it out in a secure way.
- In a recent survey sent out by Chase, there was an emphasis on cashback credit cards. Will Chase be coming out with a 2% card to compete with Citi and Barclay’s? Only time will tell…
- Citi Thank You points are now transferring at 1:2 ratio for Hilton, versus the standard 1:1.5, until 1/6/16. I got an email about this as did others.
- Lots of reports of a targeted 5x everywhere offer on the Banana Republic credit card. Manufacture clothing yourself. 🙂
- $200 signup bonus is back for TD Rewards credit cards on both versions after $1500 in spend (via Reddit). Valid until 1/4/16. They also get 5% back on certain categories up to $75 per month, among other limits. On the application, there is indication that you need a special code to get the bonus so this may be targeted. Interestingly, the card is now available nationwide.
- $5 cashback from Simplybestcoupons portal for being approved for a Target REDcard credit or debit card. I imagine some people will be getting the debit card after switching over from REDbird to Serve.
- $12 Off $15 with food delivery service Grubhub.
- Free $5 Target gift card with Redperks app.
- Safeway 6x fuel points with Autozone gift card purchases.
Isn’t Chase dead for anyone that signs up for new cards or adds au’s with any sort of regularity or have they relaxed some?
Yea, I assume this proposed new card will be like Freedom/CSP and will be hard to get for now.
you should say that the limited time 1:2 ratio for transferring TY points is for Hilton only
Yes, let me fix that. Thanks
