Our Verdict
Funny that this offer doesn’t show up in the Staples ad which is why no one caught it earlier. It is showing on the official Rebate page and was caught by freyguy50 on Slickdeals. Reader Lantean already did this deal and the Easy Rebate printed out at the register as it’s supposed to.
$15 isn’t the best we see, but useful for those who buy Visa gift cards from Staples anyway. The $15 will offset the activation fees (it’s $13.90 in fees for two $200 cards), and you can net the free credit card points if you have an easy way of liquidating the Visa gift cards.
Best to use an INK card for 5x or use an Amex card if you got the targeted Amex Offer found on some Amex business cards to get 5% back on Staples purchases of $200 or more.
