Our Verdict

Probably my least favorite of the Staples gift card offers, American Express gift cards are a pain to deal with and it’s also a staples gift card rebate. This is your last chance to use up the 5% American Express sync offer if you received it as well. Otherwise use a card that earns at a high rate on office supply stores. Remember this doesn’t start until this Sunday. OfficeMax/Depot offer is way better if you haven’t been taking advantage of that.

Can these be reliably used to buy VGCs at grocery stores or elsewhere?

@William and Chuck

You guys do a great job, but any way you could put “In-Store Only” in the title for these Stapes/OD/OM posts? I know they are usually in-store, but it causes me to have to click to make sure.

Hmm, I think if it’s online we’d write online since it’s much more exciting, haha. Hard to encapsulate all details in a title.

in the world of disappearing MS opportunities… I wonder if it’s better to used CSR on this to meet min spend or to use Ink and get 5x… decisions…

If you’re that desperate I suppose you an meet min spend, but INK is a no brainer and would almost never pass up on it.
