We’ve reported a couple times in the past about a 10% off coupon which eBay offers occasionally on a targeted basis. What’s especially mysterious about this coupon is that eBay doesn’t even advertise it by sending you an email about it; it just shows up on your account and you may or may not even see it. In the past, I’ve ended up seeing it right before it expired because eBay then made it pop up more with an “expiring soon” label.
Recently, there have been numerous reports on Slickdeals of the coupon popping up again and I’ve heard that from others as well. I assume that the same link which has always worked in the past will work again and you can check there to see if you got the offer. If you are not targeted, the page will simply show nothing. Let us know if you got this one.
These coupons are capped at $100 discount, so you want to make a $1,000 purchase and get the full $100 off. It’s one-time use only. This one is said to expire tomorrow, September 17.
If you got both this coupon and the bonus Bucks deal, you can get the equivalent of a 20% discount on a $1,000 purchase – that’s a great deal. Find some gift cards that interest you and go for it. The 10% coupon will work even on eBay gift cards, but the Bucks offer won’t work on those. Both will work on any third-party gift cards sold on eBay, such as Target gift cards or gas gift cards.
